A different kind of pie
Materials
- 1 lb Pizza dough thawed
- 2 oz Fig Jam
- 2 oz Prosciutto
- Brie cheese rind removed if desired
- 1 Red Onion thinly sliced
Optional toppings
- Arugula lettuce Sliced or shredded
- Balsamic Glaze For drizzling
- Honey For drizzling
- 2 Oz Infused Fig Jam
- 2 Oz Infused Oil
Instructions
​🍕 Fig and Brie Pizza
- Preheat oven to 450°F. If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating. ​
Prep the dough
- Stretch or roll the pizza dough into a circle or rectangle. Place it on a lightly floured pizza peel or a parchment-lined baking sheet.​1 lb Pizza dough thawed
Oil and Jam
- Brush the dough with 1 tablespoon of the olive oil. Spread the fig jam in a thin layer over the dough2 oz Fig Jam
Top
- Distribute the sliced Brie and red onion evenly over the jam. If using, add the prosciutto now.​2 oz Prosciutto, Brie cheese, 1 Red Onion thinly sliced
Bake
- Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Finish
- Remove from the oven. If using, toss the arugula with the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil, then scatter it over the hot pizza. Drizzle with balsamic glaze or honey, if desired.Arugula lettuce Sliced or shredded, Balsamic Glaze For drizzling , Honey For drizzling
Serve
- Slice and serve immediately.
